Conditions of Entry
In submitting this nomination, the person making the nomination affirms they have complied with the following conditions of entry:
The award is open to organisation that operate full-time in the Australian trucking industry.
Organisations may nominate themselves, but at least three third-party testimonials are necessary. (e.g. staff members, suppliers or customers)
The award is open to organisations only.
Previous winners in this award category are not eligible.
Selection Criteria
The award recognises a trucking operator that has demonstrated a strong and ongoing commitment to workplace health and wellbeing that has strengthened the recruitment and retention of staff. This includes initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, professional development and a positive workplace culture.
The selection criteria are an integral part of the judging process. The ATA along with the National Trucking Awards Judging Panel, urge nominators to provide detailed responses to each section and to pay close attention to the requirements for supporting documents and files.
Organisation Profile/Background
Provide a snapshot of the nominated organisation. Write about the beginnings, relevant corporate achievements, etc.
Workforce Program Details
- Describe the organisation’s people/workforce goals.
- How will the organisation deliver on its workforce goals in 2026?
- Describe how long the workforce program/initiative has been operational and how it is implemented.
- Describe key elements of the workforce program/initiative and how it has helped strengthen inclusion, retention, professional development and/or created a positive workplace culture.
- How many employees/contractors have participated in the workforce program? (number and percentage)
Supporting Documents and Files
- Nominations must be accompanied by the company’s logo as a separate file that can be used for publicity purposes (.png or vector file required).
- Nominations must be accompanied by a good quality, electronic photograph relevant to the program/initiative that can be used for publicity purposes.
- Nominations must include at least three testimonials from staff members, suppliers or customers endorsing the program and its impact.
- Nominations may include additional documents pertaining to achievements, awards or honours which the nominee has received with direct relevance to the award they are being nominated for.
Judging Process
Finalists may be required to participate in a videoconference with the judging panel in March 2026.
Prize
The winner receives a trophy, certificate, media publicity and a $7,000 (excluding GST) financial prize package that may be used for the following purposes:
- training, expansion, recruitment or employee well-being programs
- business services for free or discounted discounted professional services (e.g. HR consulting, legal advice, marketing support)
- professional certification or training to boost employees’ skills.
The prize package is not transferable.
