Technical advisory procedures: delivering compliance and best practice
When it comes to understanding compliance and regulatory procedures, things aren’t always clear. To help operators, the ATA’s Industry Technical Council plays an important role by developing Technical Advisory Procedures (TAPs).
Covering topics such as wheel end security, stability control, side underrun protection and truck visibility, each TAP is developed by the ITC member experts, including operators and suppliers with leading expertise in truck technology.
Join ITC chair Kel Baxter, deputy chair Dennis Roohan and longstanding member Ian Thomson as they take a deep dive into how TAPs are developed and how you can get involved in the process.
The session will also look at the recently developed TAPs on drawbar trailers and fifth wheel coupling and uncoupling, before giving you an insight into what procedures are being developed or coming up for review.
