The future of fuel tax and road charges
Governments are looking at increasing truck registration and fuel charges by as much as 10 per cent each year for the next three years. That would reduce operators’ fuel tax credits by nine cents per litre of fuel.
In this session, you’ll discover why the National Transport Commission has examined such a large increase, and get the details of the ATA’s response – including its plan to set up a new, lower, remote area road user charge.
You’ll find out what a future road user charging system could look like and get vital tips on how to maximise your fuel tax credit entitlements.
