Don Hogben joined the National Transport Commission in late 2022 as Principal Consultant, to lead the NTC’s Heavy Vehicle National Law reform program.

Prior to joining the NTC, Don was the Chief Regulatory Policy and Standards Officer at the NHVR, and he has also held senior regulatory, policy and planning positions in the SA Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and VicRoads.

Don has been involved in transport policy and planning, developing and delivering national reform programs, and transport regulation since 2000, including the development of the HVNL and the establishment of the NHVR.
