Rachel Smith commenced with Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA) as national Executive Director in August 2023.

Rachel has previous transport association experience having worked for the Australian Logistics Council as Head of Government and Policy and having served a period as interim CEO.

She previously worked for Australian Pathology and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, bringing extensive experience in policy and government relations, member services and operations management.
