Alex has been working in the electric vehicle industry in Australia since 2019. Currently, she is leading IKEA’s zero emission delivery strategy – with a target of 100% by 2025. IKEA’s ambitious target aims to reduce transport emissions for truck deliveries for a people and planet positive future.
Prior to this, she was Policy Manager at the Electric Vehicle Council advising government, the EV sector, and the broader sustainability sector on electric vehicle policy, with a focus on commercial fleets and heavy vehicles. During this time, Alex co-authored the EVC/ATA report Electric trucks: keeping shelves stocked in a net-zero world.
