Anthony Germanchev leads the Future Vehicles and Freight portfolio at the National Transport Research Organisation. He is a PBS assessor with more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has delivered research outcomes in the areas of heavy vehicle safety and productivity, pavement impacts and policy.

Anthony has taken on key roles in research activities of national and international significance; most notably, the OECD’s Moving Freight with Betters Trucks study.

He has a strong link to industry and, through his current role at the National Bulk Tanker Association, is an active advocate for safety and the adoption of new and emerging technologies.
