Emma Higginson is the director in the office of the CEO at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.
Emma is responsible for partnering with the CEO in the delivery of key safety and productivity initiatives to pursue risk-based and modern heavy vehicle regulation.
Emma has been involved in the heavy vehicle sector most of her working life, and has held previous positions in freight policy and media as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the NSW Minister for Roads and Freight, Duncan Gay, as well as working with industry and government to deliver historic policy reforms while with the Livestock and Bulk Carriers Association of NSW.
