Tickets

Can I buy tickets offline?
No, you will have to purchase tickets via our registration website.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?​
Tickets must be purchased prior to the event.

How will I receive my ticket?
You will receive a confirmation email with tickets attached for the event. You will be required to present it on the day for the Events Team to check you in.

What is our TA22 cancellation policy?                                                                                                                                                                  Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her/their place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

• Registrations cancelled more than 32 days before the start of the event are eligible for a 70% refund of the conference ticket fees paid.
• Accommodation cancellations made before 32 days before your arrival date are eligible for a 100% refund.
• Registrations cancelled between 32 and 7 days before the event are still eligible for a 70% refund of the conference ticket fees paid however, accommodation cannot be refunded at this time (7 days out from arrival).

COVID-19
If you test positive to COVID-19, where notice is received up to 72hr out from your arrival and the start of the conference. Registrants will be eligible for a 100% refund of your accommodation and 70% of your conference ticket fees.

If you test positive within 24 hours from your arrival and the start of the conference, you will receive a credit for your accommodation at The Star Gold Coast and a refund of 70% of your conference ticket fees from the ATA.

You will be required to provide *proof of testing positive to Covid to be eligible for a refund.

Please note, if you are considered a close contact, you will not be eligible for a refund.

*Proof will need to be in the form of a doctor’s certificate (which can be acquired via TeleHealth) or, you will need to show your registration with the government agency in your State or Territory:

Payment

Do I have to pay up front when I book online/can I receive an invoice?​
Yes, we require full payment upon purchasing a ticket. We do not issue invoices for tickets.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and paypal.

 

COVID-19

What is Trucking Australia doing about COVID-19?
Delegates must follow QLD Health guidelines and follow COVID Safe practices when attending Trucking Australia conference. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. If you can no longer attend due to COVID-19, contact us at ataevents@truck.net.au

We are working very hard to ensure the conference can proceed as safely as possible.

Do delegates need to be vaccinated to attend Trucking Australia?
All venues require that attendees use the Check-in QLD app and show proof of vaccination upon entering each establishment.

Attendance

Is there an age limit on who can attend?
While we do not enforce an age limit, due to the activities at our events we recommend attendees are at least 18 years old. If you have caring responsibilities and need to bring a child with you, please email us at ataevents@truck.net.au so we can support your attendance.

Special Access Requirements
If you have any special access requirements, please contact us at ataevents@truck.net.au upon registration and we can make necessary arrangements to enable your attendance to this event.

What if I have dietary requirements?​
Please inform us of any dietary requirements you have so we can accommodate your needs; you can advise us upon registering for our event.

What is the dress code for events? am I required to wear my uniform?                                                                                                      Our preferred dress code for the conference sessions is business/smart casual, but you are more than welcome to wear your organisation’s uniform instead if that is your preference.

Our social events are a chance to get out and get stylish after two years of lockdowns. For the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Dinner, the dress code is business suit/after five.

What should I bring with me to the conference sessions?                                                                                                                                Everything you need in relation to the event will be provided for you on the day (i.e. workbook, pen, notepad etc.)

What kind of accommodation confirmation will I receive?
We will send you a reminder email with accommodation details closer to the conference.

What if we want to stay longer?
Great idea! We offer the option to extend your stay at a discounted rate on our registration website.
