Daimler Truck Future Leaders’ Forum
About the Forum
The 2025 Daimler Truck Future Leaders’ Forum (FLF) is a professional development program targeted at up-and-coming future leaders of the trucking industry. Nominations are accepted from the ATA’s network of eleven member associations and the TruckSafe program.
The program, which is now in its eighth year, has graduated over 50 individuals who have gone on to secure leadership roles at ATA member associations and other industry bodies.
Most recently, the FLF program won the prestigious LearnX Platinum Award for Best Learning & Talent Development in the industry specific Leadership Development category.
The 2025 program will consist of:
- Two days of intensive workshops in Canberra on 20 and 21 February 2025.
- Development of team industry advocacy projects on a real issue to support the industry’s future.
- Participation in Trucking Australia 2025 from 28-30 April 2025.
Participants will:
- Learn how government policy is developed and how businesses and industry associations can have an influence in an effective and ethical way.
- Learn how to handle media interviews.
- Develop a team advocacy project in collaboration with peers with facilitation and training. Participants will present the results at Trucking Australia 2025 in Adelaide on 29 April 2025.
- Develop a strong professional network with like-minded industry leaders and join the Future Leaders’ Alumni network.
