Tasmanian Transport Association

Michelle is the Executive Director of the Tasmanian Transport Association – the recognised peak member-based employer association working for a safe, productive, and sustainable transport industry in Tasmania.

The TTA membership and work plans reflect Tasmania’s unique island state and span the varied modes of transport critical to Tasmania’s economy and community, including road, rail, and sea.

Michelle represents the Tasmanian transport industry as a Member of the Tasmanian Road Safety Advisory Council, the Tasmanian Black Spot Committee, is a member of the RACT’S NW Regional Advisory Committee and chairs the Tasmanian Transport and Logistics Workforce Advisory Group.

In 2014, Michelle received the National Transport Insurance Award for most valued contribution to the Road Transport Industry in Tasmania, and in 2015, Michelle was awarded the Trevor Leo Medal for outstanding contribution to Vocational Education & Training in Tasmania.

Michelle is a finalist for the 2024 National Trucking Industry Woman of the Year Award.
