Jarrod Thompson is the Managing Director of Transport Certification Services (TCS), the Vice-President of the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Australia (CVIAA) and the Chair of the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Victoria (CVIAV).

Jarrod holds multiple AVE accreditations across Victoria, NSW and Queensland, and is also a PBS Certifier and a Registered Professional Engineer. With his diverse experience in the automotive and heavy vehicle industry, Jarrod specialises in commercial vehicle certification, ADR component design, assessment and testing.

In collaboration with the CVIAA, Jarrod played a key role in successfully advocating for pragmatic amendments to be made to the J4 Tipper Code to better align with industry practice, and continues to lead discussions with Regulators on behalf of the heavy vehicle industry.

TCS is now in its 27th year of operation and during this time, more than 28000 vehicles (including over a thousand tippers) have been certified by the TCS team.
