Couplings are vital for truck safety, and in this session you’ll join our panel to discuss—

• the new standard for pin-type couplings and drawbar eyes released last year, including the extension pathway for available couplings to be used on triaxle rigid drawbar converter dollies or similar high D-value / low V-value applications

• the dynamic loads on couplings fitted to heavy high productivity and PBS vehicles, with information from industry research led by ARTSA-i and funded by the Australian Government through the NHVR’s Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative.
