Callum Boyce

Bisitecniks

After completing his engineering degree at the Federation University of Australia (Ballarat), Callum Boyce joined Bisitecniks as a graduate in 2014.

Callum serves a range of roles at Bisitecniks, including testing, analysis and certification, giving him a unique opportunity to see products develop from conception and testing, all the way to in-service fitment as an NHVR VSB6 AVE.

Alongside former ATA Chief Engineer Bob Woodward, Callum represented the ATA on the Australian Standards Working Group assisting in the development of the recently released AS 2213-2022 and AS 4968-2023.

In conjunction with ATA partners the working group, Callum completed his Master of Engineering Technology research thesis on the topic of ‘Suitability of Existing Automatic Pin Couplings and Tow Eyes for Use on Triaxle Rigid Drawbar Converter Dollies.’ This project was pivotal in the adoption of the coupling rating ‘performance extension; from UN ECE Regulation 13 into AS 2213-2022.
