Edition 3.1 of the ATA’s Low voltage electrical wiring and lamps technical advisory procedure sets out best practice advice on:
- the electrical performance of truck charging systems
- voltage distribution
- current draw and load at connectors
- suitable wiring gauge choices
- connector maintenance, and
- incandescent and LED lamps.
The TAP was developed by the ATA’s Industry Technical Council. It was published in October 2025.
