Chris Blanchard is a mechanic by trade, but as the youngest member of a long-established regional family business he was replacing bearings, brakes and belts long before he started his apprenticeship.

Chris has now been formally involved with the business, Herb Blanchard Haulage, for 31 years as a long distance driver, fleet manager and as a workshop manager with daily hands-on experience with modern technology vehicles.

With his team, Chris manages 45 trucks and trailers to a high standard and is at the forefront of purchasing vehicles with the latest safety technologies long before they are mandated.
