Ramon Staheli is the Head of Economics at the National Transport Commission.
Ramon has strong experience in pricing, market design and regulatory economics, which he gained as a consultant in the electricity industry and through work in the public sector.
Ramon’s previous roles include being the senior market regulatory advisor and pricing and planning manager for a large New Zealand electricity generator and retailer.
Ramon was also responsible for providing strategic market design and operation advice to electricity market governance bodies in Singapore and New Zealand, andhas worked as an analyst with the New Zealand Treasury.
Ramon has a Bachelor of Management Studies with First Class Honours in Economics from the University of Waikato.
